About Me

Had I known I’d wait four decades before walking down the aisle, I might have drowned in a sea of my own tears.

After tying the knot and becoming an instant stepmom to my husband’s four children, I gave birth to identical twin boys. My experience fostered a deep desire to encourage women of faith whose dreams of marriage have long been delayed.

A classically trained flautist with a love for language, I have made a living fixing other people’s bad grammar and performing cringe-worthy pop song arrangements at strangers’ weddings. I dreamed of publishing a book before graduating high school, making my debut title only thirty years late.
I enjoy reading, laughing, and taking way too many pictures. Halifax, Nova Scotia is the place I now call home.
